Barry joins the operator from Hays Travel's branch in Hastings, where she worked as an agent. In her new role, she will support USAirtours' trade partners and promote the operator's portfolio of itineraries.

She will report to Jessie Manzi, Head of Sales, with her appointment marking the latest addition to USAirtours' expanding sales team. Barry is the fourth new hire made by the operator this year.

Manzi said: "Sarah brings a wealth of experience and a strong understanding of our partners. Her expertise will be a great asset as we continue to expand our sales team and strengthen our relationships with agents, reinforcing our commitment to providing outstanding service and support."

Barry added: "I'm looking forward to working closely with agents, developing strong relationships and helping them make the most of the vast range of product available through USAirtours."

The appointment comes as USAirtours reports a record period of trading, with revenues increasing by 60% year on year across August and September. The two-month period represented the company's best-ever August and September trading performance, with year-on-year growth recorded across all areas of the business.

Cruise bookings through USAirtours' sister brand Beyond Cruising were particularly strong, increasing by 74% year on year.
