I’m here onboard MSC Seaview for the latest TTG Luxury Journey with MSC Yacht Club. I've been joined by five very lucky travel agents who have all been invited onboard to experience MSC Yacht Club, an exclusive members area of the ship located on the upper foredecks. This week, agents have enjoyed luxuries including personalised service, gourmet dining, and access to some of the most beautiful private areas of the ship – all while stopping off to explore some of the Mediterranean’s most loved destinations. So, let's find out what the agents had to say about their experience.

Yacht Club has exceeded every expectation that anyone could possibly have. It's an oasis of tranquillity. Each suite gets a butler. He is there to do anything for you. From the moment I got out of the car that brought me to the port, I was made to feel very special. Nothing was too much trouble for anybody, and it is very exclusive.

I am totally new to cruising, I'm quite new to the travel industry, so this is my first ever cruise. It’s been an absolutely fabulous week, I've loved every minute of it. The rooms are beautiful, the suites are beautiful and just having your balcony and it's so private – I've been sleeping with the door open so you can hear the waves, and just experiencing that for the first time has been amazing. And with the mini bar getting stocked up, you’ve just got everything you could possibly need. I didn't need to bring a hair dryer – got it here. There’s wardrobe space, the bathroom's gorgeous, the shower is amazing! I just wasn't expecting the shower to be so amazing on a ship.

The food in Yacht Club is an absolute gastronomical delight. You expect it to be good, but it was on a different level. So there’s silver service, three times a day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The waiters are excellent at bringing food that you didn't even know you wanted over to the table to let you try different things. I don't think any one of us here on this trip in seven days have ever had anything but an exceptional meal.

We have a sun deck, a pool deck, that's exclusive for Yacht Club passengers. There's sun lounges that are set out every day with beautiful Yacht Club towels that are just gorgeous – really thick and lovely. There's a buffet that's there for breakfast and lunch pool service, so you don't actually have to get up from your sun lounger, you can just grab one of the waiters or waitresses walking past and they'll bring you whatever you want.

So we did an exclusive Yacht Club excursion to Florence. We were picked up early in the morning, about half a seven private mini bus just for our group. We went into Florence and we had an amazing, amazing guide just for us so you weren’t in a big group. It was very intimate, very select, very VIP. She took us on a walking tour around Florence, showed us all the sites. We then went to the Gucci Museum, which obviously is a group of eight ladies you can imagine was very impressive. We then went on to Sophia Loren's restaurant, and again, the food that they brought out – we were actually laughing because we never thought it was going to end. So the whole day just felt very, very exclusive.

It is perfect doing Yacht Club because you get the best of both worlds. So if you fancy going out into the main cruise ship and having a more of like a lively vibe, and I think for families especially, there's just so much to do on the ship and then you can come back and retreat at the Yacht Club. To come here and see all different ages, all different types of people, all just having fun and enjoying the holiday – it's been lovely.

The top selling tips I would say for the MSC Yacht Club is to speak to all your clients and really understand what the experience is that they're looking for. We've got a lot of customers out there who really don't know what the MSC Yacht Club is, but it is more like a private members club. So you walk through the lovely glass doors, you're greeted by the 24 hour concierge, you've got a full butler service 24-hours a day. Of course, you've got the incredible suite that you check into and the private sections of the ship as well. So, the haven that you can run back to. And once you start to be in the Yacht Club, experience the product, our customers just love to come back. They are repeat customers. They don't want to try anything else because they're so well looked after. It's the experience and the feeling that you have when you walk through those doors. You feel like you're at home.
