Earlier this year, the expedition cruise line pledged to increase the support it offers travel agents due to rising demand for its polar products.
It has now expanded its UK team with three new hires including Dan Anders, Goran Subasic and Kate Patterson-Green all joining.
Anders will support newly promoted Clark as business development executive; Subasic joins the reservations team from Silversea; and Patterson-Green will work within the line's global guest relations team, reporting into guest relations director Kim Daplyn.
Clark has been promoted from the role of sales director to senior sales director, UK, Ireland, Africa and India, while Bounas becomes chief commercial officer.
The line said Bounas has been "one of the chief architects" of its success in the last five years.
Both Bounas and Clarke will continue to be based in the UK, where the company has achieved 347% year-on-year growth.
Swan Hellenic chief executive Andrea Zito said: "As Swan Hellenic proudly continues its exciting trajectory of exponential growth, I am proud to reward, nurture and grow the dedicated team that make it all possible.
"Special thanks go to Mario Bounas, one of the chief architects of our unique guest experience and consequent success, taking adventurous travelers to see what others don’t."
Bounas added: "I've had the privilege of helping shape Swan Hellenic from its earliest days, but the brand's extraordinary growth reflects the talent and dedication of everyone in our team.
"Taking on the chief commercial officer role is both an honour and an exciting challenge. I look forward to offering curious minds even more unique destinations and experiences, serving a company and an industry about which I am hugely passionate.”
