Both LGBTQ+ and ally travel agents were asked to share why the LGBTQ+ market is important to them and why they want to grow their sales within this community for a chance to join the programme. After challenging deliberations due to the strength of the entries, TTG, Intrepid and Eurostar (the rail partner for 2026) selected 11 individuals to attend educational workshops, with the majority also joining an inclusive fam trip to Paris and Amsterdam in July.
The elected agents will receive advice on everything from LGBTQ-friendly destinations and products, to how to use appropriate language and diverse assets in marketing communications. A large number of the group will also gain first-hand experience of inclusive travel in action on the fam trip, which will also be attended by a selection of the 2026 TTG Sustainable Travel Ambassadors in Training.
So, who are the 2026 TTG LGBTQ+ Travel Ambassadors in the making? Meet the faces behind the fervor…
Jason Callender, Travel Counsellor, Travel Counsellors
“Being selected for this programme means a great deal to me, both professionally and personally. After 25 years of helping people discover the world and recently launching my own travel business, it feels like the perfect next step. I’m excited to learn from industry leaders, build lasting connections and develop skills to create even better travel experiences for every client. Above all, I hope to inspire more people to explore the world with confidence, authenticity and a genuine sense of belonging.”
Rocco Dewhurst, Travel Consultant, Hays Travel
“I’m incredibly excited and grateful to have been selected for the TTG LGBTQ+ Travel Ambassadors programme. Representation and inclusivity are so important within the travel industry, and I’m looking forward to learning from industry experts, connecting with like-minded colleagues and gaining new perspectives on creating more welcoming experiences for LGBTQ+ travellers. I hope to take everything I learn back to my role and continue helping make travel more inclusive, accessible and authentic for everyone.”
Sandra Doyle, Travel Consultant, Destination Rainbow
“As a gay woman with extensive personal travel experience, I understand the unique considerations LGBTQ+ travellers face when planning a trip, such as safety, inclusivity and local cultural attitudes. As a Travel Consultant with Destination Rainbow, I am passionate about helping our clients navigate these challenges, providing informed and inclusive guidance so they can travel with confidence and peace of mind. I am excited to expand my knowledge and strengthen my advocacy through the TTG LGBTQ+ Travel Ambassadors programme.”
Faye Harrison, Cotton Lounge Homeworker, Cotton Travel
“I’m incredibly proud to have been selected as a TTG Media LGBTQ+ Travel Ambassador. I’m genuinely passionate about helping everyone find the right holiday, because I believe everybody deserves to travel feeling safe, welcomed and free to be themselves. As travel agents, we have a responsibility to understand destinations, hotels and safety so we can give the best possible advice. Being chosen for this programme means the absolute world to me, both personally and professionally.”
Selina Fritzsche, Luxury Travel Advisor, Club Voyages
“I came into travel from fashion – an industry built on the belief that how something feels is just as important as how it looks. I’ve carried that into every client experience, and being selected for this programme is something I don’t take lightly. It’s recognition that care and intention matter. For LGBTQ+ travellers, the details carry even more weight – the right destination, the right welcome, the sense of truly belonging. This is my chance to deepen my understanding and make sure the luxury I offer is for everyone.”
Elle Louth, Travel Agent, Travel Dreams by Ashleigh
“Being selected as a TTG LGBTQ+ Travel Ambassador is an incredible honour and a vital platform. As a married woman raising three children, representation matters deeply. I want to show that LGBTQ+ families come in many beautiful forms, ensuring our diverse voices are woven into the fabric of mainstream travel. Through this programme, I hope to gain deeper insights into intersectional advocacy, collaborate with industry leaders, and champion truly inclusive travel experiences so every family feels safe, seen, and celebrated worldwide.”
Scarlett MacGregor, Independent Travel Agent, Travel Counsellors
“I’m thrilled to be joining the TTG LGBTQ+ Travel Ambassadors programme. Inclusive travel is something I care deeply about, and I believe everyone should be able to explore the world feeling welcome, safe and free to be their authentic self. This opportunity will help me gain valuable knowledge, challenge assumptions and become a stronger advocate for LGBTQ+ travellers. I’m looking forward to learning from industry experts, connecting with fellow ambassadors and bringing those insights back to benefit my clients and community.”

Chris Shimmin-Vincent, Holiday Creator, The Holiday Creators
“As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am incredibly proud to join this programme. Championing safe, welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ travellers is deeply personal to me, and it sits at the heart of what we do at The Holiday Creators. Through this fantastic initiative, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of inclusive marketing and emerging trends, helping me to better serve our community and advocate for meaningful diversity across the wider travel industry.”
Max Stobbart, Owner, Stobbart Travel
“I’m delighted to have been chosen for the TTG LGBTQ+ Travel Ambassador programme. It means the world to me to be able to represent my community and offer advice and tips on how to feel safe while travelling. Being able to expand my knowledge and learn from others around me will help many people be able to see more of the world whilst feeling safe and comfortable in their destination – and booking with someone who has their best interests in mind.”
