Guests can expect 30 new shore excursions offering ‘new cultural, culinary and active experiences,’ including guided cycling tours through the Camargue and North Holland, and Riesling tastings in the German monastery of Eberbach Abbey.
The luxury brand will also launch a brand new ship in 2027, marking the 22nd addition to its fleet.
Operating on the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers, the Amadeus Mira will accommodate 158 guests in 12 suites (all of which have balconies) and 67 cabins.
Onboard facilities include the Panorama Restaurant, which is the main dining room across all ships, Cafe Vienna, a dessert cafe, and an outdoor heated pool with a sun deck and Lido Bar.
There will also be a 24/7 fitness room, a massage room, a giant chessboard, shuffleboard and a pickleball court. On selected itineraries, guests will have complimentary use of e-bikes or bicycles for shore excursions.
Amadeus Mira will also have a hybrid propulsion system and an efficient heat recovery system, as well as solar panels and specialised glass panelling to reduce energy loss.
As for its itineraries, the ship will offer a range of sailings, including cruises from Amsterdam and Trier to the likes of Budapest and Passau.
“Standing still is not an option for us,” said Wolfgang Lueftner, founder and chief executive officer of Amadeus River Cruises. “With Amadeus Mira, we continue this 40-year tradition of excellence, meeting the growing global demand for luxury river cruises with contemporary, innovative solutions.”
Prices for the 2027 programme start from £1,420 per person for a five-day Magic of Advent on the Rhine cruise on Amadeus Mira departing 12 December 2027.
All prices include return flights from the UK, overseas transfers, the river cruise with all meals, beer and wine with lunch and dinner, gratuities and up to €200 per person onboard credit.
