Aman Private Jet Journeys will include exclusive excursions from each Aman visited and each trip will be hosted by one of Aman’s general managers.
The debut journey will be a six-night trip for just 12 guests travelling between the three Aman destinations in China. It will take place on March 5, 2016 and will stop at Beijing (for Aman Summer Palace) and Amandayan in Lijiang ending at Amanfayun in Hangzhou.
The second trip will travel around Indonesia from April 9-16, commencing in Bali, then onto Amanjiwo in Central Java and Amanwana, a tented resort on Moyo island, including a sailing expedition aboard Aman’s Indonesian Phinisi coastal cruisers Amandira or Amanikan to the Komodo National Park.
The group is also set to reopen Amanjena in Marrakech on October 17 following a refurbishment. The hotel played host to David Beckham’s star-studded 40th birthday in May before closing for the three-month renovation of the public areas and guest pavilions.
Amanjena has also added a new two-bedroom ‘Maison Jardin’ and two new restaurants - The Japanese Restaurant serving informal izakaya-style cuisine, and The Mediterranean Restaurant. The property will also see the development of 17 new Aman Residences for private sale.
Meanwhile, the date for the opening of the group’s hotel in the Dominican Republic draws closer, with the arrival of Amanera slated for November 23. The hotel will overlook Playa Grande beach and will bring 25 casitas and a spa to the area, as well as being integrated into a golf course.
Next up will be Amanemu, a hot spring resort scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2016 in Ise Shima National Park in Japan.
