The luxury tour operator launched the webinars to provide a detailed overview of its most sought-after tailor-made touring destinations. They are open to existing agent partners and agents who are new to the brand.

Head of sales Rick Milne said: "The sessions have been put together to showcase our breadth of product, and to highlight how Carrier differs from our competitors in terms of experiences. They are not designed to be deep dives into the destination and they’re certainly not flat PowerPoint presentations, instead the webinars will be more emotive, and will take a conversational approach with those attending.”

He said the team will “focus less on specific product information and more on storytelling, offering nuggets of useful information to help elevate bookings.” They will also focus on how Carrier’s travel experts manage enquiries and how agents can benefit from Carrier’s relationships with its suppliers. “Ensuring their clients are particularly well taken care of and that their travel experiences go truly above and beyond the ordinary,” Milne added.

Each webinar lasts for 45 minutes and will be led by the destination product manager and one of Carrier’s sellers.

The series started with a webinar focused on Africa at the end of June, led by Carrier’s Africa product manager Amanda Bailey and luxury travel designer Alex McFarland. Milne continued: "Our first webinar was a huge success and we’ve had some brilliant feedback; those attending enjoyed the format and found it a ’refreshing change from the norm’."

The next session will focus on North America on Wednesday 19 July at 10am, followed by Asia on Wednesday 27 September at 10am.

Agents can register their interest here or contact agency sales executive Andy Tart on agencysales@carrier.co.uk.
