The yacht now has 100 extra cabins and stops on the new voyage include Portimao, Cadiz, Gibraltar, Malaga, Cartagena, and Palma de Mallorca.

The line’s three “Star Plus Class” yachts – Star Breeze, Star Legend and Star Pride – have all been undergoing major ‘stretch’ transformations, which have increased their maximum capacity from 212 guests to 312.

Additional dining experiences include on-deck barbecue experience, and a Spanish tapas restaurant from Michelin chef Anthony Sasso.

Improvements to reduce the ships’ environmental impact have also been included in the overhaul, with more efficient engines and generators and advanced wastewater treatment systems.

Star Legend is the second of the ships to relaunch, following Star Breeze in June.

Despite their expansion, the vessels are still able to access the world’s smaller ports and waterways.

Five of the line’s total six yachts are now back cruising. All passengers and crew require proof of Covid vaccination to travel.
