Travel industry charity Abta LifeLine has raised more than £7,000 during its second fundraising dinner in Manchester.
Held at the city’s Lowry Theatre, guests were treated to a private exhibition tour of the paintings of Lancashire artist L.S. Lowry, a drinks reception and a three-course meal.
An auction and raffle hosted by Kuoni boss Derek Jones was later held during which the total was reached.
The evening ended in a fittingly Manchester style with a performance from a Take That tribute group.
Trudie Drake, Abta LifeLine director, said the charity wished to thank all guests, table hosts and prize sponsors.
Thank you to all the amazing guests at our @ABTALifeLine dinner helping us raise a fabulous £7k for LifeLine. And to our brilliant auctioneer @Degsycom for extracting the cash! pic.twitter.com/pRmcnVp8QE
