The full-day event will be held in London on 17 November and will feature a range of speakers focusing on marketing strategies to support the continued resurgence of the travel industry.
The conference will also provide up-to-date information on sectors such as luxury, family, over-50s, youth, adventure, solo and cruise.
Delegates will hear how the pandemic and rising cost of living has changed customer behaviour, including changes to holiday habits, buying behaviours and online interaction with brands.
Tom Marchant, co-founder of Black Tomato, will be speaking on a panel about key product trends. He said: “While luxury travel in 2022 was marked by nostalgia, safety, and familiarity, 2023 is shaping up to be bolder and braver, with travellers increasingly wanting to push boundaries and lean into the spirit of pioneering myriad parts unknown.”
Lisa Fitzell, managing director, Elegant Resorts, who will be on a panel about changing customer behaviour, said: “We haven’t yet seen a slowdown in demand for the luxury travel sector for 2023, and our annual trends survey is showing holidays and health and wellness are the single most important things to 97% of customers that responded. We expect the luxury sector to be resilient, with Europe, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean still remaining the most popular destinations.”
Meanwhile Lisa McAuley, managing Director, Silver Trade Advisor, pointed out older travellers tend to be detail-orientated and are “even more so since the pandemic, so it’s vital to keep up both verbal and written communication particularly with long lead-in bookings.”
