Since opening in Cyprus in 2015, Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos has become much-loved among couples and families. And in March the property reopened its doors following an extensive upgrade, meaning there are even more reasons for your clients to stay.
From fresh accommodation to new-look public spaces and a redesigned wellness offering, here are nine ways to tempt your clients at this luxury all-inclusive beachfront resort.
1. Upgraded accommodation
As part of the resort-wide transformation, all of the 276 rooms and suites have been redesigned.
Accommodation has been enhanced with contemporary finishes, improved layouts, upgraded furnishings, and smart in-room controls. Your clients will be surrounded by a calm palette of natural colours, premium materials, and carefully considered styling. There are plenty of thoughtful touches too, from Elemis amenities to premium bathrobes and slippers and espresso coffee machines.
The array of room types means there’s an option suited to each client, from the Deluxe Pool & Sea View room with a spacious balcony, to the Family Junior Suite, which has separate sleeping areas for parents and children.
2. Exclusive areas for adults
For couples, highlight the resort’s adults-only wing, home to the Fisherman’s Junior Suites, Deluxe Superior Rooms and White Rose Honeymoon Suite. This dedicated area ensures guests can access the resort’s extensive facilities, while still having a quiet, private space to retreat to.
Inspired by traditional Cypriot architecture, the Fisherman’s Junior Suites boast four-poster beds and modern freestanding baths, with Private Terrace and Private Pool options available.
The adults-only wing also gives guests access to the resort's adults-only Serenity Oasis lagoon-style pool and swim-up bar.
3. A new adults-only bar
One of the highlights of the property’s extensive upgrades is the You&Me Bar, which has been fully upgraded and now reopens as a dedicated adults-only venue. It features an elegant indoor lounge and an outdoor veranda, with a wide bar menu, including signature cocktails.
Here adults can enjoy a calm and welcoming setting, with gentle live music. It’s an ideal space to unwind, and is another key selling point to highlight to couples seeking sophisticated, dedicated adults-only spaces.
4. An immersive arrival experience
First impressions count, and at Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos, guests will be wowed from the moment they arrive.
The grand lobby is the first space they’ll enter, and it has received a full makeover, with elegant lounge seating, a coffee and drinks station, and an impressive 3D ceiling screen. This brings movement and light to the space, with the imagery changing throughout the day. Guests will also be surrounded by carefully chosen scents and music, including live piano performances. And of course, all this is combined with the team’s authentic and welcoming Cypriot hospitality.
5. The new-look Serenity Spa & Wellness
The resort’s Serenity Spa & Wellness has been fully upgraded, and now offers a range of ritual-led treatments and “time for two” experiences for couples. The treatment rooms have all been upgraded, including the addition of special couple suites, and treatments use products from premium skincare brands Elemis and Phytomer. There are also serene relaxation and wellness spaces where guests can rest before or after their treatment.
Your clients also have full use of the health club, with a fully equipped gym, all-weather indoor pool, sauna and steam bath.
6. Exceptional dining
When promoting the resort, highlight the incredible variety of dining options, ideal for families with different tastes to satisfy, and for adults who want plenty of choice.
The resort offers ultra-all-inclusive dining, with six themed restaurants, including traditional Cypriot meze at the Captain’s Deck. American-style family diner meals are served at the Rock n Roll Diner, while international buffets and fun themed nights take centre stage at the Royal Olympic Restaurant, which offers a family section and dedicated adults-only area. Guests can also visit the Snackeria for all-day snacks, ice cream, coffee, and refreshments.
The resort is an ideal choice for foodies, and Michelin-starred chef Theodor Falser developed menus at Italian restaurant Garibaldi and Pan-Asian restaurant Seven Orchids, complete with live cooking stations.
Guests’ dining plans also include unlimited drinks and refreshments across the restaurants and five bars, including two pool and swim-up bars, and a premium selection of branded international alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. In-room minibars are replenished daily with a range of included drinks.
7. Top-tier entertainment
The resort is the perfect choice for clients seeking fun evening entertainment. It’s home to the high-tech Xperience Arena, which hosts daily live musicals, tribute concerts and magic shows, performed by the Kanika All-Stars team. Families are well catered for with early evening shows, and there’s a full bar service and VIP seating, making every night feel exclusive.
There’s also a raft of entertainment in the kids’ clubs, which offer more than 150 activities. The Little Monsters Kids Club is for children aged three to twelve, with a packed programme of superhero days, sports events, pirate days, movie nights and more. A creche caters for youngsters aged six months to three years old.
Those aged eight to eighteen can also head to the Teenz Club for video games, pool and mini snooker.
There’s plenty to keep youngsters active, including the Olympic Soccer Academy, where coaches ensure kids have fun while learning new sporting skills, with classes for three age groups. And when evening comes, expect fun and games with the resort’s mascots, and lively discos.
8. Relaxing by the water
Whether clients want to be poolside or by the beach, there is always an option to suit them – and a sunbed. One of many thoughtful initiatives across the resort is giving every guest a guaranteed sunbed allocation, complete with Evian face sprays and cool refreshments. There are five themed pools to choose from, including a lively family lagoon, and a fun kids’ pool with water slides, surrounded by tropical gardens.
Adults can head to the exclusive Serenity Oasis, which offers a whirlpool, hydro-massage loungers and a swim-up bar. There’s also an indoor pool for cooler days.
The sandy beach is another huge draw, as the resort is located on a prime Blue Flag beach, with free serviced sunbeds for guests.
9. Prime location
The resort’s central location makes it an ideal choice for those looking to explore the area. Clients have just a quick 15-minute transfer from Paphos International Airport, and Paphos Harbour and the Medieval Castle are only a 10-minute walk away, with the tourist shopping and entertainment area just five minutes on foot.
