The Advantage Travel Partnership has launched a new e-learning platform to deliver specialist training courses.
Advantage has teamed up with Travilearn to offer members a range of courses and toolkits designed specifically for business travel.
Travilearn claims to be the first global online learning platform for the corporate travel industry.
The consortium says the launch will complement its existing Advantage Training Academy training portal.
It follows “growing demand”, said Advantage, from members for tools to attract and train new and existing employees with the skills to operate in the corporate travel sector.
Advantage members will be able to take advantage of early learner special rates and work towards a certified diploma.
Julia Lo Bue-Said, Advantage chief executive, said the partnership would allow members to invest in equipping employees with the skills needed to succeed in the industry of corporate travel.
“These specialist courses not only provide valuable professional development but are designed in a way that both suits modern learning styles and fit with the busy working environment.”
Discounted rates will be available initially on three specialist courses, certified by the Guild of Travel Management Companies – Introduction to Corporate Travel; 21st Century Travel Management; and Lead, Engage, Transform.
Each course features interactive content, videos, infographics, audio and quizzes, with narrative modules featuring case studies and helpful tips to test and build the learner’s understanding.
Trainees are supported by virtual instructors, who will engage and interact with learners using collaborative discussion boards, as well as marking assignments and providing feedback on progress.
Courses will be accessible the Advantage Training Academy, which brings all the learning and development tools available to Advantage members together in one central location.
