Split into two parts, it featured a global romance fam trip and a new showcase event of the accommodation providers for weddings, romantic getaways, vow renewals and honeymoons.
Minister of tourism Ernest Hilaire said: "What Saint Lucia offers is an experience that really cements the bonds that togetherness brings. It recognises the special moments, whether it is a wedding, honeymoon, or adventure. Saint Lucia is an authentic, world-class destination with unmatched experiences."
The Romance Showcase held at Sandals Grande St Lucian was an opportunity for agents to meet local partners, including 25 villas and hotels and 15 independent event and wedding planners.
Other modules included keynote speakers, a bridalwear fashion show and a digital media strategy workshop. The fam trip featured mud baths, Bar Hop, Gros-Islet street party, chocolate-making and a Catamaran cruise.
