The scheme gives agents the chance to earn cash rewards for every passenger they book by 14 April on an Air Transat flight from the UK.

Agents who book Eco Standard fares will receive a £10 shopping voucher and those who book Eco Flex or Club tickets will earn a £20 voucher.

Vouchers can be redeemed on “thousands” of gifts and experiences, according to the airline, including weekend breaks and hotel stays, to gadgets and beauty products.

Star Rewards incentives are available for bookings made by agents on Air Transat’s flights from Gatwick to Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City and from Manchester and Glasgow to Toronto and connecting services to Calgary and Vancouver.

Sonia Kurek, Air Transat’s UK and Ireland commercial director, said the carrier would be rolling out further trade promotions during the year.

“The travel trade are highly valued partners for Air Transat and, as our industry rebuilds from the challenges of the pandemic, we are pleased to be able to offer them this incentive,” Kurek said.
