IndiGo said its Quiet Zones will consist of eight rows on flights where children under the age of eight will be forbidden to sit.
“Keeping in mind the comfort and convenience of all passengers, row numbers 14 and 11-14 are generally kept as a Quiet Zone on IndiGo flights,” the airline said.
It added that the zone would be perfect for “business travellers who prefer to use the quiet time to do their work”.
The airline operates 818 flights each day to more than 40 destinations from its base in India.
