The former Aito chair and touring pioneer was inducted during the association’s first parliamentary reception at the House of Commons since March 2020 earlier this week.
Moore, who passed away on 30 January, worked as an overland tour guide before co-founding Explore Worldwide in 1981.
Hosted by MP Mark Menzies, chair of the All-Party-Parliamentary-Group for Latin America, and Lata chair Colin Stewart, the ceremony brought together MPs, Latin American ambassadors, diplomats, Lata members, media and the wider UK travel industry.
The event celebrated the "resilience" of the Latin American travel industry following the Covid-19 pandemic and recognised personalities who contributed to the positive images of Latin America in the UK.
Stewart said: "Since our last reception held back on 11 March 2020, only 12 days before lockdown, I was delighted to welcome our members, ambassadors, dignitaries and travel colleagues back to parliament.
"It was fantastic to come together again after such a challenging few years and celebrate the resilience of the sector."
