American Airlines will reintroduce three routes from Dublin this summer as it ramps up its European flights.
A service to Dallas Fort Worth starts in April, followed by Charlotte in May and Chicago in June, all of them summer only.
The flights are part of a 14% transatlantic capacity increase compared to 2022 that will see an additional 240 flights a month from Europe. Among them, American will operate 26 flights a day from Heathrow.
“We are thrilled to be carrying even more passengers across the Atlantic this summer, and are happy to be able to cater to the increasing demand for flights to the US. from Europe,” said Kyle Mabry, American’s vice president – operations and commercial, EMEA and APAC.
“Last summer showed us travel is high on people’s to-do lists, with summer escapes a key highlight each year.”
