The river cruise and touring specialist is offering travel consultants a £95 Love2shop code for every sale secured on 18 August.
To help support bookings, agents can utilise APT’s current balcony sale, with discounts offered of up to 50% and an upgrade to the best available cabin also included for Travelmarvel guests.
Founded initially as Australian Pacific Coaches in 1927 by 24-year-old mechanic Bill McGeary during a Melbourne tram strike, APT grew into a leisure travel business offering tours and day trips.
By the mid-1970s, the company ventured overseas for the first time, providing escorted tours to New Zealand and rebranded as Australian Pacific Tours.
A Canada and Alaska touring programme was added in 1991, which saw the introduction of journeys by luxury train and cruise ship for the first time, while European river cruise trips were added in 2005.
The company is still owned by the McGeary family, with three generations working in the business.
Brad Bennetts, APT and Travelmarvel’s UK head of sales and business development, said: “That APT is celebrating its 95th anniversary is testament to the vision, innovation, and commitment of the McGearys – this brand was built out of a family’s passion and created to last as they evolve and invest in the company to ensure it remains at the forefront of the sector.
“We are thrilled to share this special moment with our valued travel agent partners, and with a reward of £95 in Love2shop vouchers for every booking they make on 18 August, they can celebrate this auspicious day with us in style.”
