Atlantis Paradise Island has launched a fundraising campaign to help the relief effort in The Bahamas following Hurricane Matthew.
The resort has pledged to match donations up to $250,000 made to The Bahamas Red Cross until October 31 to aid in its work rebuilding parts of the destination damaged by the storm.
Although the resort said its property, guests and employees had been “minimally effected” by Hurricane Matthew, it added that other parts of The Bahamas “were not so fortunate”.
