Azamara appoints new marketing boss

Azamara Club Cruises has appointed Sarah Fowler as head of marketing and PR in the UK.

Azamara appoints new marketing boss

She joins from Explore Worldwide, where she has been head of marketing since 2015. Prior to this, she was with Merlin Entertainments, leading the launch of a new website and ecommerce platform.


Fowler will lead the marketing and PR efforts for the brand’s three ships and play a key role in the launch of Azamara Pursuit, which will join the fleet in August 2018 after a transformation to make it almost identical to its sister ships Azamara Quest and Azamara Journey.

Azamara’s Richard Twynam, managing director for UK and Ireland, said: “I am thrilled to welcome Sarah to the Azamara family. Her appointment comes at an incredibly exciting time for us in the UK, as we prepare for the launch of Pursuit and as our UK business continues to grow.


“Sarah brings with her a superb track record of success in destination marketing from her role with Explore, alongside digital expertise. We look forward to working with Sarah and her skillset being applied to the UK’s best specialist cruise line.”
