The deal, which was announced on February 1, has been finalised following full exchange of contracts between both parties.
Glasgow-headquartered Barrhead now sits as part of Travel Leaders Group’s UK portfolio of brands which also features Colletts Travel, Protravel International UK and Tzell UK, following the acquisition for an undisclosed sum.
Both Barrhead founder and chairman Bill Munro and chief executive Sharon Munro will continue in their current roles with the business anticipating no major changes in operations for its more than 900 staff.
