Sublime Travel (Atol 9557) traded under Sublime Travel Ltd and sublimetravel.co.uk until Monday 30 January. The company’s website and social media presences are down, and its office phone number is now out of use.
The CAA said on Monday it was collating information from the company and would provide an update as soon as possible. Anyone with bookings with Sublime should wait for a new claims form from the CAA to make any relevant claims, the authority has warned.
Its advice for agents read: "If you are a travel agent of Sublime Travel Ltd and you are currently holding consumer payments which you have not yet paid to Sublime Travel Ltd, you are advised not to refund consumers with these funds until you have received instructions from the Air Travel Trust.
"Travel agents will be individually contacted by the CAA with specific instructions for these bookings."
