The Personal Travel Consultants in partnership with Blue Bay Travel’s first anniversary was actually on 26 July. However, celebrations were held back until after the summer holidays to get everyone together.
In their first year, the team served more than 5,000 passengers; headcount, meanwhile, grew to 32, with Blue Bay keen to grow the ranks of its Personal Travel Consultants to 45 this year.
The team were joined at Blue Bay’s Stoke-on-Trent base for the celebration by chief executive Alistair Rowland and sales manager Abbie Heaton for an awards event and dinner.
Blue Bay’s Personal Travel Consultants now have access to around 250 suppliers, including the group’s own in-house tour operator, which specialises in exclusive packages to the Caribbean, Mexico, the Far East and the Indian Ocean.
"I want to personally thank all our Personal Travel Consultants who have worked so hard over the past 12 months to make sure their clients receive the very best service," said Heaton.
"It is their passion and commitment to customer service that have helped us rise to the position we enjoy today. I’d like to make an ongoing commitment to our consultants to ensure we stay one step ahead of innovation and offer not only the best commission rates in the industry but also coaching, support and friendship."
