The charity, located near Blue Bay’s Staffordshire base in Stoke-on-Trent, was picked by the agent and tour operator’s group of "charity champions".
The new partnership, which has been confirmed for two years, will see Blue Bay raise funds for the charity through a variety of activities and events, but colleagues will also offer hands-on support by walking the dogs, helping at feeding time and cleaning the kennels.
To kick off the partnership, the volunteer team from Pebbles Legacy brought some of the dogs along to Blue Bay’s offices this month to meet the team.
The dogs included two Saint Bernards called Disney and Donkey, two three-legged dogs called Fern and Bell, and Vera the Chinese Crested who was rescued from a kill shelter in Romania.
A variety of fundraising activities also took place, including a raffle to win an extra day of annual leave, a "guess the pet owner" quiz and a "Pebbles Pay Day Pub". The team raised £302 for the charity in its first fundraising initiative.
Alistair Rowland, chief executive of Blue Bay Travel, said the firm is "100% behind" the new charity partnership.
"We’re excited about the host of fundraising activities and events we can plan over the coming years, as well as the hands-on support we can provide to Pebbles from cleaning the kennels and walking the dogs to extending professional advice and training to the Pebbles team on marketing and social media," he added.
