Cummins returns to travel after a stint outside the industry during Covid working in logistics and warehousing, bringing 25 years’ travel industry experience to the role.

He is a former director of sales at Millennium Hotels and Resorts, AMResorts sales and marketing manager, China Southern Airlines head of sales, and Flight Centre air and hotel contractor.

At Blue Bay, he will work closely with the group’s senior team – product management director Greg Armstrong and senior product manager Nicky Streeter – to grow support for hotels in the Spanish Caribbean and EU.

"After a strange few years for travel professionals, I am massively excited to be back in the fold, post-Covid, and to be joining the team at Blue Bay Travel," said Cummins.

"I have worked closely with the Blue Bay product team as a supplier and share the same passion for delivering the highest possible service to customers and suppliers alike.

"I hope to be able to draw on my previous experience to hit the ground running for Blue Bay and look forward to learning from the talented team around me to expand my knowledge and skill base."
