The service, which previously operated from Gatwick, will remain at Heathrow for at least the summer season. Two additional frequencies will operate from 26 March, restoring the timetable back to that last seen in March 2020.
The decision by BA means seven-day packages can be sold again.
Tracy Berkeley, interim chief executive at Bermuda Tourism Authority, said: “We want to thank British Airways for their confidence in Bermuda as a destination and providing UK visitors with more flexibility and convenience in getting here.”
In addition, BA is increasing frequency on flights to the Cayman Islands, which operate via the Bahamas. An extra departure will mean five frequencies a week from Heathrow for summer 2023 from 26 March.
The launch of the additional flight for the Caribbean route, which has been in operation for over 25 years, follows the Cayman Islands’ full removal of Covid travel requirements in August 2022.
