For the first time from the Scottish capital, the flag carrier will offer weekly flights to Olbia in northeast Sardinia and twice-weekly flights to San Sebastian. Both are on sale from today.
Flights will be operated by British Airways’ subsidiary BA Cityflyer, which flies from London City airport during the week. The new services from Edinburgh will depart over the weekends to complement the existing schedule from London City.
Both routes will operate on 98-seat Embraer 190 aircraft with Club Europe and economy cabins.
Olbia flights begin on 25 May and will operate every Saturday until 10 August, with fares from £88 each way. The outbound flight is an 07.00 departure.
San Sebastian, on Spain’s Atlantic coast, also launches on 25 May and will operate as a short season until 30 July on Tuesday and Saturday. Fares are from £84 each way, with the outbound flight departing at 10.40 on Tuesday and 17.00 on Saturday.
