As a Travel Aware partner, the BTA will promote the FCDO’s global travel advice to its members. The campaign – which launched in 2014 – aims to increase confidence while asking travellers to engage with travel advice and understand the steps that need to be taken for a "safe and enjoyable" trip.
Clive Wratten, chief executive of the BTA, said: "Providing insight into business travel needs adds a vital dimension to the previously leisure-led campaign from the FCDO.
"Our members and partners will now be able to provide business travellers with clear information ahead of travelling internationally for work."
The BTA will attend its first round table in September.
