Ryanair has announced plans to extend its twice-weekly Cardiff-Faro route into the winter season.
From 30 October, Ryanair will continue to operate the route until the spring.
Flights will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays; Wednesday services will depart Cardiff at 5.20pm and Sunday flights at 10.15am.
One-way fares lead in from £19.99.
Spencer Birns, Cardiff airport chief executive, said the Algarve was an in-demand destination year-round from Cardiff.
"We are pleased to see Ryanair growing further at Cardiff in the off-peak season after a busy summer with us," added Birns.
