The brand was bought in April 2022 as part of Caribtours’ acquisition of tour operator Just Grenada Collection and its seven sister brands – including Just Slovenia, Just Barbados and Just Saint Lucia.
Caribtours chief executive Paul Cleary told TTG it was the right time to launch Just Slovenia to the trade due to an increase in agent demand.
Cleary added Just Slovenia won’t be the only brand Caribtours is launching to the trade this year, as the other seven companies are expected to become available for independent agents in the next 12 months.
“Agents were crying out for good Slovenia suppliers,” he said on Monday (5 February). “Our Just Slovenia team are true specialists – no one offers the same extensive range of properties in Slovenia.”
Cleary explains agents will be drawn to the Somerset-based specialist because of the team’s expertise, with agent-supporting strategies – such as discounts and competitions – coming in due course.
He was adamant agents will receive full commission “on all aspects of the booking”, including accommodation-only.
Just Grenada Collection was initially bought in April 2022 after Cleary saw the opportunity to bring the two brands together as they shared the same “impeccable” reputation for know-how and expertise.
