The regulations were relaxed on Saturday (9 April), although the requirement to wear a mask in medical and social care facilities remains mandatory.
Hospitality venues have also been given the green light to operate normally without Covid restrictions or curfews, according to the Croatian National Tourist Office.
There are no more limits on the number of people that can be hosted in restaurants, entertainment spaces and public events, and capacity restrictions on coaches and public transport have been removed.
However, travellers from the UK are still required to fill in an online form at entercroatia.mup.hr prior to departure and present proof of vaccination within date from the last 14 to 270 days.
Alternatively, they can also provide evidence of a negative antigen test for Covid-19 taken within 24 hours of departure or a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure.
Travellers can also enter Croatia by providing proof of recovery from Covid, not earlier than 11 days and not more than 180 days prior to travel, or proof of recovery plus one dose of vaccine not earlier than 11 days and not more than 270 days prior to travel.
All children under the age of 12 are exempt from providing test results if their parent or guardian fulfils the requirements.
