The Department for Transport has amended regulations which will cover travellers on a typical fortnight’s itinerary.
The Dft confirmed to TTG that changes had been made to allow passengers to complete the PLF in the 48hrs before boarding their vessel for cruises that are less than 19 days in length.
This means the form can be completed at home or in a hotel before boarding. If a cruise is longer than 19 days, passengers will still need to complete the PLF onboard or at a port call during their cruise.
The rules regarding passengers travelling on domestic cruises are unchanged and these travellers do not have to complete the document.
