Mitchell, who has worked in travel for 11 years, joins the Greece and Cyprus specialist operator after five years working with Hays as a personal travel consultant.
She will join Cyplon’s sales team on 6 February and report into head of national sales Stephanie Robins and work alongside the operator’s BDM for the south Faye Anderson.
“Kirsty has said it’s been her dream for quite some time to become a BDM and she cannot wait to get out there and give the northern agents some love,” Robins told TTG.
“I’m over the moon to have someone as motivated as Kirsty join our team. Likeability is vital in our industry and she has that in abundance.”
Robins added that Cyplon was looking to further grow its team soon after enjoying year-on-year sales growth.
