Delta and Latam have been granted final approval by the US Department of Transportation to enter a joint venture to increase connectivity across the Americas.

The new agreement will allow customers to access more than 300 destinations between North America and Latin America

The new partnership will give passengers access to more than 300 destinations between the US/Canada and Latin America, including destinations such as Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.

Once implemented, the approval will enable the airlines to begin enhancing their services and expanding their route offerings.

This will then add to the codeshare routes and reciprocal loyalty benefits already put in place by Delta and Latam.
