Her appointment comes as the GSA takes over sales and marketing representation for South African Airways ahead of the closure of SAA’s London office after more than 70 years.
As well as SAA, Botha will assume responsibility for key airline partnerships including Copa, Gol, Ultra Air, Binter and LAM Mozambique Airlines, developing revenue opportunities with travel trade partners.
