In order to make room for new features from the new blockbuster The Force Awakens, the California-based attraction will reportedly close Big Thunder Ranch in Frontierland, Big Thunder Ranch Barbecue, Big Thunder Ranch petting zoo and Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree, the Los Angeles Times said.
The areas expected to close are also likely to be shut soon, with the newspaper reporting closures beginning on January 10.
Nearby attractions on the Rivers of America are also thought likely to be temporarily closed, including Fantasmic, the Mark Twain Riverboat, the Sailing Ship Columbia, the Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyer Island, the Disneyland Railroad and the Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes.
A total of 14 acres will be temporarily closed or converted to Star Wars attractions, according to reports.
Disney has not announced a planned opening date for the new Star Wars area, however experts have predicted it could be at least a year off.
