Robert Birge will join easyJet’s management board later this month. He joins from Asos where he was chief customer officer.
Birge was previously chief marketing officer at OTA Kayak and was part of the original start up team behind US OTA Orbitz.
His role at easyJet will span marketing, digital, customer service, customer experience and insight.
EasyJet said Birge was a "highly experienced leader" with a track record of delivering marketing and customer success at travel brands.
Johan Lundgren, easyJet chief executive, said: "Robert brings with him a wealth of experience from a range of travel and consumer brands. Continually innovating how we deliver our unique easyJet customer experience is a key focus area for the airline and so we look forward to welcoming Robert to the airline later this month."
