The airline is increasing flights to both ski and beach destinations from late March onwards, including 50,000 extra seats to the ski gateways of Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon, Salzburg, and Sofia during the final weeks of the winter sports season.
More seats are also being added to beach destinations, such as Faro, Barcelona and Malaga, as well as to Turkey and Cyprus.
EasyJet is bolstering its summer 2022 schedule from Gatwick, Luton, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool, as demand picks up for travel with the relaxation of Covid-19 travel restrictions both in the UK and across Europe.
This includes an extra 20,000 seats from Liverpool to Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Cyprus, as well as 6,000 additional seats from Manchester to Malaga this summer.
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK country manager, said: “We are delighted to be adding even more seats to our summer 2022 schedule, so that we can provide our customers in the UK with even more choice to enjoy to some of Europe’s best ski, beach, and city destinations.
“We know that so many people have missed being able to holiday over the last two years and so it is a priority for many UK consumers.
“We are excited about our plans for next summer, which should see us return to near 2019 levels of flying and we can’t wait to welcome our customers back onboard.”
