The first flight takes off on 9 June, with easyJet holidays offering a range of city break packages with flights and accommodation.
Kelly Walker, easyJet holidays’ head of distribution, said: “I’m thrilled to be adding this brand new destination to our portfolio.
"Istanbul is an incredible city, with so much to see and do, so I’m confident our travel agent partners and mutual customers in the north will be as excited as we are.”
Packages are based on 13 four- and five-star properties, with flights on Monday and Friday. They include the five-star Wanda Vista Istanbul, an hour from the old city, from £333pp.
