The airline and operator last month confirmed plans to open a new three-aircraft base at Newcastle next spring, its 11th, following the launches of Birmingham in March 2024 and Southend in March 2025.
New destinations include Malta, Rhodes, Corfu, Faro, Reus, Tunisia, Sharm el Sheikh, Dalaman and Antalya, as well as Prague and Nice, with all 11 bookable for travel through to October 2026.
The operator is extending its Big Orange Store Makeover campaign to Newcastle to mark the expansion; agencies in the city have until midnight on 1 July to pitch for exclusive easyJet holidays merchandise, bespoke window wraps, marketing displays and in-store furnishings to help them promote and sell the operator’s expanded Newcastle programme.
EasyJet holidays will also host 70 agents at its latest Team Orange on Tour (Toot) roadshow in Newcastle on Tuesday (10 June), offering agents a first look at the latest additions to the operator’s hotel programme and the chance to hear from hotelier partners.
Natasha Marson, easyJet holidays’ head of trade distribution, said the operator was "truly appreciative" of the "vital role" that agents play in helping their clients get away.
"Holidays remain a top priority for consumers, so we’re super excited to now be offering a wide selection of fantastic beach and city break destinations and travel dates extending through to October 2026," she said.
“We’re committed to supporting our travel agent partners through various trade initiatives and look forward to strengthening these relationships and enhancing our collaborative success for the future."
