From May, easyJet will station an extra Airbus A320neo aircraft in Manchester, which will operate throughout the summer season.
The carrier has also announced a new Manchester-Paris route, starting in the spring. The Orly flight will get under way from 27 March, with up to five weekly departures on weekdays.
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK country manager, said: “The addition of the new aircraft at Manchester will create around 40 local job opportunities and is a symbol of our ongoing commitment to the airport.”
