The line has added a raft of new journeys to its 2023/24 programme, following the launch of its first luxury superyacht Emerald Azzurra in March this year, with its second – Emerald Sakara – set to debut in 2023.
Each vessel will carry just 100 guests in 50 staterooms – most with balconies.
Both new yachts will homeport in the Caribbean for winter 2023/24, offering cruises to 15 islands and Central American countries including the Caribbean island of Antigua, Panama’s San Blas islands and Colombia’s coastal city of Cartagena.
The 18-Day Discover Southern Caribbean & Central America cruise departing February 2024, for example, sets sail from Barbadian capital Bridgetown and calls at Caribbean islands including St Vincent and the Grenadines, Bonaire and Aruba, before stopping at locations in Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia.
Emerald Cruises’ will also run three new transatlantic crossings in 2023/24 between the Caribbean and the Canary Islands. Highlights will include an extended stay in Portuguese capital Lisbon, and a visit to Puerto Rico’s old San Juan. A 12-Day Ocean Voyage: San Juan to Santa Cruz de Tenerife will depart in April 2024.
The new yacht cruise collection includes itineraries with fresh ports of call in the Mediterranean too. The new 18-day Discover Western Mediterranean and Morocco cruise, for instance, is an extended cruise visiting five countries including southern Italy and Sardinia, Spain and the Canaries, Morocco, France and the Portuguese island of Porto Santo.
