Former Shearings product and commercial chief Matt Herbert has joined JG Travel Group as sales and yield director.
Herbert, who worked for Shearings for 13 years, will manage and direct the group’s sales, insight and reporting focuses.
JG chairman and chief executive Luis Arteaga said Herbert was another important addition to the team.
"Matt will play a pivotal role in ensuring the JG Travel Group meets its strategic aims through the optimisation of sales through commercial yield processes," he added.
Herbert’s appointment is the latest in a string of hires by the group following its acquisition in July of National Holidays.
It follows the collapse of Shearings and National Holidays parent Specialist Leisure Group in May.
Herbert joins trade sales manager Claire Dutton, groups manager Julie Wilson and product manager Chris Allen in joining JG from SLG in recent weeks.
