The addition of the two brands brings the total number of expedition cruise operators in the network to 18.
Uncruise Adventures is a US based company which offers small-ship adventures in Alaska, Mexico’s Sea of Cortez, Pacific Northwest, Galapagos Islands, Central America, and Hawaii.
Ecuadorian expedition cruise company Metropolitan Touring specialises in cruises to the Galapagos Islands, having operated in the destination for more than 60 years.
The additions come ahead of a trade training webinar hosted by Martin Johnson, chair of the ECN, joined by a panel of experts from ECN’s expedition cruise members.
Johnson said: "Expedition cruising sector is truly diverse, and I am thrilled to welcome UnCruise Adventures and Metropolitan Touring to our already distinguished group of expedition cruise operator members.
