On Thursday (18 May), the ECN will kick off its monthly webinar series with a session entitled "Selling Expedition Cruising".
Hosted by ECN chief executive Akvile Marozaite and joined by expedition cruise experts from Lindblad, Hurtigruten, and Swan Hellenic, the webinar is aimed at those who are new to selling expedition cruising.
Topics will include what expedition cruising is; how selling it is different from other forms of travel; who the expedition cruise client is and where to find them; the best-selling destinations; and expert selling tips.
The ECN plans to release its full programme of webinars in the coming weeks. The series will appeal to experienced expedition cruise sellers as well as those new to the sector, and will cover topics such as sustainability and global destinations besides polar regions.
Speaking to TTG, Marozaite said: "The webinars will offer an unparalleled insight into the expedition cruising and its multi-faceted aspects that will ultimately provide trade partners with deeper understanding of this unique form of travel."
