On Monday morning more than 200 travel professionals tuned into the first-ever TTG VV Fest to hear the latest news and training from Virgin Voyages.
This was the best-attended day TTG has seen at any of its previous week-long, free-to-attend virtual training festivals.
“We knew there was a thirst for knowledge out there but the response from our First Mate [agent] partners has surpassed all expectations,” said Shane Lewis-Riley, vice-president of UK and international sales for Virgin Voyages.
He added: “Inclusivity is at the heart of Virgin Voyages and, together with TTG, we’ve created a wonderful place for all First Mates to come together and learn something new. It has been amazing to see everyone sharing their knowledge and experience, and I am very much looking forward to the rest of the week, including our live art class!”
All the day’s content is available to watch on-demand when you register for TTG VV Fest at ttgmedia.com/vvfest, with the forthcoming sessions also set to be hosted on TTG’s bespoke event platform.
Monday’s audience was made up of new and experienced agents, who attended two sessions titled “Reasons to Believe” and “Ahoy Sailor!” These covered what’s new for the adults-only cruise line in 2023, details of customer loyalty programmes, advice for what client type is best suited to the brand, plus product highlights.
Agents who attend TTG VV Fest have the chance to win one of five Virgin Voyages cruises for themselves and a companion.
Any travel professional keen to attend TTG VV Fest and enter the competition can register and attend for free.
