Thomas Cook’s 139-room adults-only Casa Cook hotel in Ibiza will open in July, featuring a penthouse floor, large terraces and pools, as well as a private four-bedroom villa with its own pool.
Casa Cook Ibiza is Cook’s fourth after the brand was launched two years ago, aiming to attract a new generation of Cook customers with modern features such as escape room games and street-food restaurants.
It will be situation in Cala Gracie, a secluded bay near San Antonio on the island’s western coast.
Rooms have been designed to reflect the hotel’s surroundings and bridge the gap between interior and exterior spaces with large windows, balconies and terraces.
The decor, meanwhile, uses refined natural materials like rattan, stained oak, reclaimed timber and concrete. The hotel is also adorned with palms and other local foliage.
Besides 116 standard double rooms and the villa, there are six swim-up pool rooms and three penthouse suites with large terraces offering sea views.
Guests can stay bed and breakfast or half-board. The hotel will have two restaurants – one focusing on healthy dishes and the other boasting an ever-changing locally-inspired menu.
Cook’s vision is of guests relaxing around the 50-metre pool enjoying cocktails and DJ sets, or equally, getting away to practise yoga.
Remo Masala, creative director Thomas Cook Hotels and Resorts, said: “Ibiza’s natural beauty and eclectic style of visitors is the perfect location for our fourth Casa Cook hotel.
“The design and breathtaking views from the penthouse floor together with the vegan-inspired restaurant and privacy of the private villa really does take our boutique hotel brand to the next level and provides the perfect base to explore everything that Ibiza has to offer, day and night.”
Cook’s first Casa Cook opened in Rhodes in 2016 followed by Kos last summer. Chania will launch in May followed by Ibiza.
Seven nights at Casa Cook Ibiza lead in from £1,359pp based on two sharing a twin room on a bed and breakfast basis, flying from Gatwick on July 5.
