Fred Holidays has launched two new Eastern and Oriental Express itineraries to mark the return of the iconic Asian rail journey.
The train features a signature cream and green exterior, polished wood-panelled corridors and furnishings with a hint of Asian designs. Travellers can enjoy champagne and cocktails in the Bar Car and South East Asian cuisine in the dining carriages.
A three-night Wild Malaysia rail journey will depart Singapore and travel north through the jungles of Malaysia, offering a number of excursion options such as a wildlife discovery in Taman Negara National Park and a Peranakan cookery class in Penang.
Following Fred Holidays’ recent partnership with Pandaw, a new 18- and 19-night Pandaw Authentic Mekong and Eastern and Oriental Express, A Belmond Train itinerary combines the three-night Wild Malaysia rail journey with a seven-night Pandaw Classic Mekong expedition cruise between Saigon and Siem Reap.
