Based around American Cruise Lines’ seven-night paddle wheel cruise along the Mississippi River from Memphis to New Orleans, the core itinerary includes two nights at The Guest House at Elvis Presley’s Graceland with a VIP Graceland experience, a Memphis city tour, two nights in New Orleans plus a city and food tour, with prices from £4,895 per person.

Clients can now combine the itinerary with four new rail and self-drive packages to Texas, Nashville or Chicago. There’s the option to extend their journey with a two-night trip to Houston via Amtrak and a visit to the NASA Space Centre or a three-night detour to Music City, Nashville with admission to the RCA Studio B and Country Music Hall of Fame.

Alternatively, travellers can start their itinerary in Chicago before boarding an Amtrak train to Memphis, or take a self-drive holiday beginning in Chicago, stopping in St Louis for two nights, and joining the core tour in Memphis for a paddle boat cruise.
