The company, which has traditionally offered European land and river cruise product, has unveiled new fully commissionable tailor-made options – including more “rail and sail” itineraries, themed departures and “increased destination intensity”.
Fred Holidays has also invested in its team and brought familiar industry faces back to travel.
They include product and sales manager Sally Hauser and business development manager Claire Webb, who were previously at Great Rail Journeys; key account manager Jenny Wade, previously at Viking Cruises; and assistant reservations manager, Gemma Saunders, who previously worked at Fred Olsen Cruise Lines and Thomas Cook.
Fred Holidays’ on the road team – comprising Wade, Webb and business development executive Briony Worrall – will be providing support to trade partners and offering face-to-face training.
Their trade efforts will be backed up by Fred Holidays’ agent portal, www.agentfred.co.uk, which offers downloadable social media material, posters and product flyers, all of which can be overbranded.
Managing director Steve Williams said: “With a huge range of product and an experienced and knowledgeable on-the-road sales team, Fred Holidays is a great option for agents looking for a one-stop shop.
“With the expansion of our tailor-made programme, the addition of some great people to the team and some more exciting developments to be revealed in due course, I feel confident that Fred Holidays can achieve its growth objectives while continuing to support our loyal trade partners.”
